CARMEN Mª NO DISERTO ABOUT THE HISTORY OF FASHION

Carmen Mª No Varela, Meiga de Honor of the HOGUERAS-1995, offered, in the afternoon of yesterday, in the Cultural Room of the Sporting Club Casino, a talk in which she addressed the history and evolution of fashion throughout the last hundred years, in its relationship with the cinema, discovering curiosities and anecdotes that prove this close relationship.

The talk, framed within the cycle “Pages Coruñesas”, was entitled “Multimarca fashion, film, inventions and anecdotes from the early twentieth century to today.”

The ceremony was attended by 50 Meiga Mayor, Emma Cabezas, accompanied by the President of the Association of Meigas, Mª Concepción Astray, as well as a large audience that awarded the speaker’s speech with applause.
