THE INFORMATIVE DAYS FOR THE MEIGAS-2019 CONCLUDED

In the afternoon of today, the Informative Days for the Melas 2019 were concluded, which were celebrated, during two weekends, in the Multipurpose Room of the Military Historical Museum of La Coruña, with the assistance of the 50 Meiga Mayor, the Meiga Mayor Infantil, Las Meigas de Honor and the Children’s Honor Grids of the HOGUERAS-2019.

Throughout these days, the Meigas, received information on the figure of San Juan Bautista, the history of the bonfires coruñesas, protocol, regional costume of Galicia, participation in public events, leadership, history of La Coruña, customs and associated rites to the festival of San Juan, style and program of events of the HOGUERAS-2019.

During these days, the Meigas took the opportunity to strengthen their ties of friendship and personal relationship.
