THE GREATEST CHILDREN’S MEIGA, DELIVERS THE TOYS TO THE TOY BANK OF LA CORUÑA

This morning, the Meiga Mayor Infantil, Inés Taranilla, accompanied by one of her Meigas de Honor Infantiles -Irene Taranilla, Nereida Carrera, Emma Rodríguez and Carla Olmedo-, Accompanied by the friendly Elves, they made an official and symbolic delivery of the toys collected throughout these days to Anahir, head of the Toy Bank of La Coruña and promoter of this magnificent initiative that deserves all our praise.

There were hundreds of toys, new and used, that many people from Coruña gave to the Association of Meigas, in a gesture of solidarity that honors them, throughout the duration of the campaign.

The toys received were properly cleaned and conditioned by the directors of the Meigas Association before being delivered, in a staggered manner over several days, to the Toy Bank.

In addition to our most sincere thanks to the people of Coruña for their generosity and to the Toy Bank, with Anahir at the head, for their beautiful initiative, we want to congratulate effusively and highlight the work carried out, both by the President of the Association, Conchita Astray, and by its directors Natalia Díaz and Uxia Pazos, authentic architects of the campaign, with the collaboration of Benito Freijido, representative of the Promoting Commission of the Bonfires of San Juan.
