THE 50TH BIGGEST MEIGA WILL DRESS A TRADITIONAL AND ELEGANT GALA SUIT WITHIN THE PROGRAM-HOGUERAS 2019
This Saturday, May 11, at the Presentation of the HOGUERAS-2019 program the Gala Costumes were unveiled > that the Meigas will wear in this 50th anniversary.
Since 2015, Boutique Pilar y Carmen is responsible for designing the Gala Costume of both the Meiga Mayor and the Meiga de Honor . This year for the Meiga Mayor has opted for a traditional black suit, simple style and with superimposed lace. The choice of color for the costume of the Meis de Honor has been a reddish coral with a plunging neckline and a tulle-like fabric. In the act also took place the performance of the Cuarentuna of A Coruña.

A complete program of events
This year’s program includes a total of 86 acts for the coming months. Of the 86, 79 have been programmed directly by the Organizing Committee of the HOGUERAS 2019.
Next May 15 at the Rosalía de Castro Theater, the XLIX Feast of the Poetic Coven will take place, Act for the Exaltation of the 50th Meiga Higher. In addition, there will be theater, recitals of choral music, concerts of classical music, dance and ballet, conferences, concerts of Bands, parades, street parties, tributes to the Flag and the Coruñesa woman, acts of exaltation of the Meigas, sports activities, etc. .
