MEIGAS INFANTILES, IN THE PROCESSION OF “LA BORRIQUITA”
As scheduled, at eleven o’clock today, Domingo de Ramos, the XXXVI Meiga Mayor Infantil, Ainhoa Souto, accompanied by her Meigas de Honor Infantiles, participated in the Traditional procession of “La Borriquita” that, organized by the Brotherhood of the same name, left the church of the PP. Capuchins.
In the presidency of the processional cortege were 50 Meiga Mayor, Emma Cabezas, and the President of the Meigas Association, Mª de la Concepción Astray.
The processional parade crossed different streets of the Ensanche, without any collaboration, even without cutting off traffic, by the sectarians of the tide that programmed a series of coinciding sports activities that have closed to traffic a good part of the city.
