APPROVED THE MOTION IN FAVOR OF THE HOGUERAS

11/02/16 In the municipal plenary this afternoon in the Town Hall, the motion of support to the HOGUERAS and the Association of Meigas, presented by the mayor Lucía Canabal, came forward, by a majority, counting on the vote in favor of the Popular and Socialist groups. Of course, as it could not be otherwise, they voted against the tide and the block, who argued various things, as an insult, as to call the Meigas "women vase". Little do they know about all this upstarts to politics. Let us now hope that the "democratic sense" of those who govern the city and assume what the majority has decided will prevail. Is not that what democracy consists of? The other thing, as far as we know, is what marks the difference between democracies and dictatorships. We will see the mood they have.
