THE ASSOCIATION OF MEIGAS ASSISTED THE ACTS OF SAN FERNANDO, PATRON OF ENGINEERS

A representation of the Board of Directors of the Association of Meigas attended this morning to the celebration of the day of San Fernando, Patron of the Fundamental Specialties of Engineers and Transmissions of the Army, which, organized by the Battalion of Transmissions V / 22 , Garrison in our city, was held in the barracks of Atocha.

The Association of Meigas, named last year Soldier of Transmissions of Honor, was represented by its President, Mª Concepción Astray, and by its Vice President I, Lucía Fonte. This last one was who accompanied the General Head of the Operative Logistic Force, Lieutenant Colonel chief of Battalion V / 22 and to a former Officer of the Arms of Engineers, in the act of homage to those who gave their life by Spain, placing a laurel wreath Before the monolith.

Previously, a religious function had been held in the Royal and Insigne Collegiate Church of Santa María del Campo, which was also attended by representatives of the Association.
