Today is celebrated the ceremony of proclamation and imposition of bands to the meigas of bonfires 2016

Today , Thursday, September 17, at 8:00 p.m., the Sporting Club Casino (C / Real, 83) will host the Ceremony for the Proclamation and Enforcement of Bands for the Major and Children's Meigas HOGUERAS-2016 , after the refusal of the Mayor to celebrate it in the Hall of Sessions of the Municipal Palace as usual.

Different Authorities and representations of the city will impose their belts to the XLVII Meiga Mayor , Belén Ferreiro López; To XXXIII Meiga Mayor Infantil , Alba Rodríguez Santos; As well as the Meigas de Honor and Meigas de Honor Infantiles 2016.

Next to the Meiga Mayor, Belén Ferreiro , the young Coruñesas Lucía Aba González will be proclaimed Megas de Honor ; Miranda Barboza Ordoñez; Carmen Fragoso Gundín; Alba García Quintela; Cristina Gestal López; Soraya Marrozos Nogareda; Sara Reboredo Fonte and Ana Souto Páez.

Meanwhile, the Children's Major, Alba Rodríguez , will be accompanied by his Children's Honor Megrims, the girls Coruñesas Carla Amenedo Carrillo; Paula Corral Sueiro; Carla de Cruz Varela; María Fragoso Gundín; Laura López Queiro; Mara Núñez Sánchez; Sabela Piñón Dopazo and Lucía Saeta Martínez.

With this ceremony the curtain of a new exercise of HOGUERAS will rise that will reach its zenit in the next night of San Juan when the Senior Meigas lights the Bonfire planted in the beach of Riazor.
