THE HOLY MASS OFFERING TO SAN JUAN WAS CELEBRATED

This afternoon, in the military church of San Andrés, the traditional Offering of the Meigas was celebrated in front of the image of San Juan. The religious function is presided over by Father Carlos López Jadraque.

The event, which was attended by the Meiga Mayor, the Meiga Mayor for Children, the Meigas de Honor and the Meigas de Honor Children of the HOGUERAS-21 In addition to Meigas Mayores, Honorary and Honorary Majors from previous years, as well as the Boards of Directors of the Association of Meigas and the Promoting Commission, the General Chief of the Maneuver Support Command was present; the Delegate of Defense in Galicia; the Naval Commander of La Coruña; the Colonel Commander of the Northern Third of the Marine Infantry; the Chief Commissioner of the Citizen Security Brigade of the National Police; the Colonel Director of the Military History Museum; a representation of the Popular Group in the City Council, as well as other representations of the social fabric of the city, as well as friends and collaborators of the Association of Meigas.

The offering, at the foot of the image of the Saint, was presented by the President of the Association of Meigas, Mª Concepción Astray.
