THE CEREMONY OF PROCLAMATION OF THE 50 MEIGA MAYOR AND THE MEIGAS 2019 IS CELEBRATED

Yesterday afternoon, the Ceremony of Proclamation and Imposition of Bands at 50 Meiga Mayor, XXXVI Meiga Mayor Infantil, Meigas de Honor and Meigas de Honor Infantiles were held in the emblematic Auditorium of the Eusebio da Guarda Institute, with all solemnity. 2019

The act was attended by numerous Authorities and representations that, with their presence, clothed Emma Cabezas, 50 Meiga Mayor and the Meigas de las HOGUERAS-2019, in the year of 50 Meigas in history.

The Band at 50 Meiga Mayor, Emma Cabezas, was imposed by the Division General, Francisco Javier Sánchez Fernández, Chief of the Operational Logistics Force, and the XXXVI Meiga Mayor Infantil, Ainhoa Souto Arístegui, the Ambassador of Spain, former Mayor and Honorary President of the Promoting Committee of the Bonfires of San Juan, Francisco Vázquez Vázquez.

The act concluded with the interpretation of “Meiga Mayor” and the Anthems of Galicia and National.
