ECOS OF GOOD MUSIC IN THE CASINO
Magnificent concert, the one offered today in the Culture Room of the Sporting Club Casino, framed within the “Notes and Bonfires” Cycle of the HOGUERAS-20 < / strong>, organized by the Association of Meigas in collaboration with the Higher Conservatory of Music, within the program of the HOGUERAS-2020.
In the first part of the concert, the brilliant pianist Hiwot Vilariño, showed the perfect knowledge of his difficult art, offering a selection of works by Scarlatti and Schubert, which were awarded great applause from the audience.

In the second part, the Metal Quintet of the Superior Conservatory, composed of Roi Guzmán (horn); Xabi Doural (trombone); Alberto Calvo (trumpet); Xosé Píriz (trumpet) and Lucas Álvarez (tuba), delighted the public with the interpretation of Bach’s works; among others.
Despite the inclement weather, the audience that attended this concert was numerous and rewarded with loud applause to the performers.
As a climax, the 50th Major Meiga, Emma Cabezas, gave the concertists a souvenir of their passage through the “Notes and Bonfires” Cycle.
