EIGHT SCHOOLS AND BALLETS PARTICIPATE IN THE XVI DANCE COMPETITION OF NOITE DA QUEIMA
A total of eight Schools and Ballets of La Coruña and comarca, will participate, on the 24th, in the sixteenth edition of the Dance Contest of A Noite da Queima, organized by the Association of Meigas de las Hogueras de San Juan.
The event, which will begin at eight-thirty in the afternoon and will have the Rosalía de Castro Municipal Theater as the stage, will have the participation of the Carmen Dance School; Ballet Druid; Danzade; Dance Group of the House of Andalusia; A.C. Obradoiro College; Danzarte de Betanzos, Daughters of Jesus and Dance 10.
The choreographic theme chosen this year will be inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Meiga Mayor celebrated in this edition of HOGUERAS.
At the Contest, 50 Meiga Mayor, Emma Cabezas; the Meiga Mayor Infantil 2019, Ainhoa Souto, accompanied by the Meigas de Honor and Meigas de Honor Infantiles.
Access to this act, which is free, will be by a rigorous invitation that can be requested through the mail asociaciondemeigas@hoguerassanjuan.com.
The Association of Meigas, in a gesture of solidarity, will collect personal hygiene products to enter the Hogar Santa Lucía.
