A PRAYER TO MEIGAS ASSOCIATION

11/02/16 Once seen the contempt and bad education demonstrated by those who claim to govern the city, led by the Mayor, we want to make a heartfelt plea to the Association of Meigas from this website that does not own your Entity. Dear Meigas, we believe that you should not insist, despite the motion in favor approved today, in which it is the Mayor who imposes the Bands on the Meigas since the Meigas do not deserve that. Out of respect for the more than 700 women from A Coruña who worked, they directed, searched for resources, etc., to carry out the HOGUERAS, for almost 50 years, managing to revive them and turn them into what they are, a Fiesta of International Tourist Interest; A Mayor like the one who has the city does not deserve the high honor of imposing your Bands that represent tradition and know how to be and do. Let them cease already in their insults and disqualifications and respect others and others who, without getting anything in return, worked for La Coruña, for culture and for their HOGUERAS. Do not allow such people to impose your Bands, there will always be someone who does it with pride and respect as you deserve.
