FOOD IN THE ECONOMIC KITCHEN

Almost one hundred people gathered in the morning at the Cocina Económica to attend the traditional meal offered by the Association of Meigas within the program of the HOGUERAS-2017.

Together with the President and Board of Directors of the Meigas Association were the General Chief of the Operational Logistics Force; The former Mayor José Manuel Liaño; The Popular Councilors Rosa Mª Gallego, Rosa Lendoiro, Lucía Canabal and Roberto Coira; The socialist mayor José Manuel Dapena, as well as other representations of Institutions and Entities of the city.

This food traditionally celebrated in San Juan Week had its origin in 1994 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the proclamation of the First Meiga Mayor.
