JOSE MANUEL LIAÑO FLORES, EX ALCALDE DE LA CORUÑA, SUPPORTS THE MEIGAS ASSOCIATION

04/13/16 In a letter sent to the Association of Meigas who was Mayor of La Coruña, the prestigious lawyer José Manuel Liaño Flores, supports the Association in these complicated moments that crosses by the obstinate sectarianism of the municipal government. In his letter, among other things, he says, "… It is undeniable that all citizens of Coruña, without distinction of any other kind, political, social, religious or very personal, are identified with those who from the outset have been the Initiators, and continued the monitoring without fainting of this celebration until the present, and must be helped, and not faced, by the Municipal Authority, with a mutual spirit of collaboration … "José Manuel Liaño Flores was Mayor of La Coruña between 1976 and 1979 and during its stage, as happened since 1970 with other Mayor, he lent his valuable collaboration to the San Juan Bonanza Promoting Commission to carry out his programs of HOGUERAS.
