THE ASSOCIATION OF MEIGAS “AMIGA DE LA INFANTERIA DE MARINA”

The Association of Meigas de las Hogueras de San Juan, has received, today, the communication from the General Command of the Marine Corps, sent by its owner, the General of Division, General Commander of the Corps, Antonio Planells Palau, communicating the appointment of the Association as “Friend of the Marine Infantry”.

The communication, has caused constitutes a high honor for the Association whose president has accepted with great pride the aforementioned distinction.

The title will be officially delivered on 27 February, the date of the 482nd anniversary of the creation of the Corps, the oldest Marine Corps in the world.
