LAS MEIGAS 2019, RECEIVED AT THE SPORTING CLUB
On the afternoon of yesterday, the Board of Directors of the Sporting Club Casino, headed by its President, Juan José Medín, received the Meigas 2019, at the head of which was the XXXVI Meiga Mayor Infantil, Ainhoa Souto, accompanied by Meigas de Honor and Meigas de Honor Infantiles, as well as by the President and director of the Meigas Association.
The President of Sporting, greeted the Meigas, thanking them for their presence in the Society and highlighting the great relationship that, for many years, has linked the Entity with the HOGUERAS , remembering that, each new exercise has its origin in the Casino facilities since in its Cultural Hall meets the Jury in charge of electing the Mayor Meiga.
The President of the Meigas Association, Mª de la Concepción Astray, took the floor and thanked the President of the Casino for the valuable collaboration she gives each year to the Association of Meigas in the development of the program of the HOGUERAS.
To conclude, the President of the Sporting Club gave the Meigas a memory of the Entity, while the President of the Meigas Association did the same, presenting him with a memory of the present exercise.
