LAS MEIGAS 2024 IN THE HOLY WEEK OF CORUÑA
As usual, once again this year, the older and children’s Meigas, led by their owners, will participate in different processions during Holy Week in A Coruña.
According to what the Association of Meigas tells us, their participation, this year, will be the following:

Sunday 24. Palm Sunday. 11:00 a.m. Procession of the Borriquilla. Brotherhood of the Borriquilla. Departure from the PP temple. Capuchins (C/ Federico Tapia). The Children’s Meiga Mayor and the Children’s Honor Meigas will attend. The Association of Meigas de las Hogueras de San Juan is a Brother of Honor of this Brotherhood.
Wednesday 27. Holy Wednesday. 9:00 p.m. Procession of the Holy Christ of Buen Consuelo. Brotherhood of Our Lady of Solitude and Holy Burial. Departure of the V.O.T. of San Francisco (Plaza de Carlos I). The Meiga Mayor, the Meiga Mayor Infantil, Meigas Mayores and Meigas Mayores Infantiles from other years and the Meigas de Honor and Meigas de Honor Infantiles will attend. The Promoting Commission of the Bonfires of San Juan is a Brother of Honor of this Brotherhood.
Friday the 29th. Good Friday. 7:00 p.m. Procession of the Holy Burial. Brotherhood of Our Lady of Solitude and Holy Burial. Departure of the V.O.T. of San Francisco (Plaza de Carlos I).
