MEIGAS PARTICIPATED IN THE PROCESSION OF THE CHRIST OF CONSUELO

Once again, as it is traditional, a representation of the older and infantile Meigas of the HOGUERAS , of different editions, attended the procession of the Holy Christ of the Good Consuelo, a parade officially assigned by the Association of Meigas in their capacity as Honorary Brother The Brotherhood of Our Lady of Soledad and the Holy Burial.

The procession departed at nine o'clock in the evening of the Third Order church accompanying the image of this parade that was escorted by members of the National Police, crossing, before a large audience, different streets of the Old City.

Next to the Meiga Mayor 2017, the Meigas Mayores of 2014 and 2016 were marching, while accompanying the Meiga Mayor Infantil 2017 was the Meiga Mayor Infantil 2016. Next to them Meigas de Honor and Meigas de Honor Infantiles of the HOGUERAS-2017 , As well as Meigas de Honor of different editions.

In the presidency of the procession was the President of the Association of Meigas, Mª Concepción Astray.
