PRESENTED THE PROGRAM OF THE HOGUERAS-2016 AND THE OFFICIAL COSTS OF GALA DE MEIGAS MAYORES

The Culture Club of Sporting Club Casino was the stage in which, yesterday afternoon, the presentation of the program of the HOGUERAS-2016 was held , as well as the Official Gala Dresses that will wear the Meiga Mayor and Meigas Of Honor in the main events of this year's program.

The presidency of the event was headed by the General Chief of the Operative Logistics Force, the General of the 15th Civil Guard Zone, the Colonel Commander of the military, Commissioner Pral. Chief of Operations of the Higher Police Headquarters, as well as representatives of the municipal groups of the Popular Party and the Spanish Socialist Workers Party, along with other representatives and numerous public.

Belén Ferreiro, Meiga Mayor 2016, and Alba Rodríguez, Meiga Mayor Infantil 2016, were accompanied by their Meigas de Honor and Meigas de Honor Infantiles, as well as by the Board of Directors of the Meigas Association with its President, Mª Concepción Astray, .

The event, which was conducted magnificently by Asunción González, Meiga Mayor 2011, began with the presentation of the program of activities for the current year, consisting of about a hundred acts of a cultural, popular and social nature, although a part of these Acts, especially those of popular character, are vetoed by those of the tide. La Meiga Mayor 2014, Lucía Fonte, was in charge of doing a brief tour of each and every one of the events that make up the program, presenting a video of the highlights of last year.

Later on, Carmen Mª No, Meiga de Honor 1995 and manager of the Boutique Corunna "Pilar y Carmen", presented the costumes designed and presented by her commercial firm to las Megas 2016.

The Meiga Mayor, Belén Ferreiro, was in charge of appreciating the kindness of the Boutique "Pilar and Carmen", closing the turn of interventions the President of the Meigas Association, Mª Concepción Astray, who wished all the attendees a happy Saint John 2016.
