SAN JUAN WALKED THE STREETS OF THE OLD CITY

Given the impossibility of accessing the streets of the center of Corunna by express prohibition of the municipal government to cross the square of Maria Pita, the procession of San Juan toured the streets of the Old City yesterday afternoon.

After leaving the church of the Third Order, the procession parade, attended by the Meigas-2016, as well as Meigas Mayores, Meigas Mayores Infantiles, Meigas de Honor and Meigas de Honor Infantiles of other editions of HOGUERAS , proceeded by the itinerary That took him to cross different streets and squares of the old part of the city.

In the procession, along with numerous faithful, participated the Lady of San Juan, the Heraldillos and the Guard of Honor of the Meigas that gave escort to the image of San Juan, Patron that was of our city until the sixteenth century.
