THE FIRE OF SAN JUAN WAS LIT

The tight morning of the Eve of San Juan concluded for the Meigas, past one-thirty in the afternoon at the church of San Andrés, where his parish priest, Carlos López Jadraque, lit and blessed the Fire before the image of Saint John.

Traditionally, with this Fire, the Meigas lit the bonfire until the sectarian prohibition of the tide four years ago.

We hope and want everything to change from next year.
