The ceremony of Proclamation of the Meigas of the HOGUERAS-2016

Today I know that the 2016 Ceremony for the Proclamation and Imposition of Bands to the Meigas will be held, next 17th, in the magnificent Hall of Culture of Sporting Club Casino as a result of the refusal – better said to the "silent for answer" – Given by the Mayor of the tide to celebrate it in the Palace of Maria Pita as usual.

To be honest, I have to say that the news made me happy to the extent that, if God wills and the Association of Meigas is good to invite me, I will attend this event, something I would not do in the event that the Ceremony Held in the City Hall under the Mayor's presidency.
