THE FULL ZARZUELA THE CASINO

The wide and varied program of the Spanish lyrical genre by antonomasia presented by the "Encantados" Group filled the Culture Club of Sporting Club Casino, which thanked, with loud applause, the recreation of some of the most brilliant pages of our Zarzuela, a genre that Enjoys many followers in our city and that the Cultural Authorities have practically marginalized him.

For many years, HOGUERAS programs dedicate, at least one day, to this Spanish genre and so popular in what is called "Homenaje a la Zarzuela", integrated into the program of the Theater, Music and Dance Days.

We suppose that this, the "of the cultures" – we continue without knowing well of which – will forget to program Zarzuela in spite of the liking of the one that enjoys in Corunna. The bad thing – the good thing we believe – is that it is a very Spanish genre and everything that sounds to Spain these do not like. Let us hope that, at least, they want the Spanish National Team to win – which, by the way, is what they call the margin of those euphemisms they use not to have to use their official denomination – although, who knows, Forget that one of the partners of these refused, in principle, to allow large TV screens to be placed in Barcelona to watch the National team play in Spain.
