THE IMAGE OF SAN JUAN, I WALK THE STREETS OF LA CORUÑA

At eight o’clock in the afternoon, after the conclusion of the Holy Mass Offering, he left, from the Plaza de Carlos I, the procession of San Juan that went through the streets of the Coruña center in the presence of a large audience.

The processional procession was opened by the Banda de Cornetas y Tambores de la Amargura de Ferrol, followed by the Children’s Megars of Honor and the Children’s Meiga Mayor 2019. After them, Meigas de Honor of previous editions, the Megaritos de Honor of the present exercise, the Meiga Mayor 2018, closing this part of the procession the 50 Meiga Mayor, all of them escorted by Heraldos, Heraldillos, Brackets and the Honor Guard of the Meigas, together with the Lady of San Juan.

The image of San Juan, escorted by halberdiers of the Honor Guard of the Meigas, gave way to the religious presidency and after it the civil one in which they appeared. besides the Board of Directors of the Meigas Association, the General Head of the XV Zone of the Civil Guard, the Delegate of Defense in Galicia and the Delegate of Tourism of the Xunta de Galicia, closing the procession the Caamaño Musical Group. p>

The procession, toured some of the streets of the Old City and then travel through Puerta Real, Montoto, Marina, Luchana, Water and Fame, returning to the temple again by Marina , Montoto, Puerta Real, Santiago, Constitución, Príncipe, Santo Domingo and San Francisco.

Both the exit from the temple and its entrance to it, the National Anthem was interpreted in the image of San Juan.
