THE MEIGAS BEFORE THE MONUMENT TO THE BRIGADIER DIEGO DEL BARCO

At twelve o’clock in the morning, in the gardens of the Real Maestranza, the Meigas-2019 tribute tribute to the Brigadier of the Royal Army Diego del Barco, Coruña and hero of the War of Independence.

After reading a brief sketch of the Brigadier, the Meigas made a wreath at the foot of his monument, after which the 50 Meiga Mayor and the Meiga Mayor Infantil deposited a crown of laurel.

The interpretation of the National Anthem put the finishing touch to the act.
