THE MEIGAS ASSOCIATION GIVES HOMAGE TO D. MIGUEL DE CERVANTES

04/27/16 The XIII Dance Contest of A Noite da Queima, to be held this afternoon at the Centro Cultural Agora, will be a tribute to the Association of Meigas and the twelve participating Dance Schools to the immortal figure of D. Miguel de Cervantes, to commemorate this year the fourth centenary of his death. The whole of the Schools attending this edition of the Contest, will dedicate their choreography to remember the great Spanish literary of our Golden Age: "Don Quixote and the mills"; "Titans fights"; "The dreams of Dulcinea"; "The madness of Cervantes" or "eagerness for adventure", are some of the titles of the ballets that will be interpreted this afternoon by the participating Schools.
