THE MEIGAS ASSOCIATION SUSPENDS THE MOST PART OF THE ACTIONS PROVIDED FOR TOMORROW, JUNE 23

Acts such as the homage to King Alfonso IX; A memory to Miguel de Cervantes; The entourage of the Meigas; The homage to Brigadier Diego del Barco; The parades; The Cavalcade of San Juan; The entourage of the Fire of San Juan and the burning of the Universal Bonfire, with some of the events planned for the day of tomorrow, June 23, Eve of San Juan, have been suppressed by the Association of Meigas in view of arbitrary prohibitions and No response to given to any of his writings by the Tide Town Hall.

Most of these acts had been celebrated since the year 1970, having been authorized and supported by municipal governments of different political signs.

This year, the night of San Juan and the day of tomorrow will not be as they were always, cheerful and lively; Now he has to live in a sad and abandoned city. A pity but we already know who should be thanked.

What damage would have done to these people that these activities were carried out? Did they damage the city? Did they bother anyone? These are questions that we hope someday someone will respond.
