THE NIGHT OF BELEN

For Belén Ferreiro, our Senior Meiga, yesterday evening was his great moment. Beautiful, elegant and excited, dressed with gusto by the prestigious boutique Coruña "Pilar and Carmen", like the Meigas de Honor and the conductors of the Fiesta del Aquelarre, lived an intense day that had its prolegómenos when, in a vehicle of Time, she was picked up at her home to transfer her to the Rosalía Castro Theater.

Later, on being received, the sound of Galician bagpipes and the applause of the public that awaited her, at the door of the theater by the President of the Meigas Association, Mª Concepción Astray; The Meiga Mayor Infantil 2016, Alba Rodríguez, and the Party Preacher, José Ramón Onega.

Finally delivering the prizes San Juan and imposing the Gold and Silver Thistles, collective and individual, the first of which was received by the same imposing the President of the Association of Meigas.

She went to Bethlehem, an intelligent woman, cultured and prepared, an unforgettable evening that will surely keep as one of her best memories.

Congratulations Bethlehem. I wish many of those who believe that they offend you by calling you "woman vase" tried to imitate you, something impossible as they are. In any case do not worry, the vases store in their interior beautiful things, sweet and endearing, the flowers, to know that they keep in their interior those that pretend to offend you.
