THE PRESIDENT OF THE MEIGAS ASSOCIATION PRESENTED THE OFFERING TO SAN JUAN

In the afternoon of yesterday, the traditional San Juan offering was celebrated in the church of the Third Order, which was presented by the President of the Meigas Association, Mª Concepción Astray, who thanked the Saint for the favors received and his permanent protection.

After the offering, the Meiga Mayor, Meiga Mayor Infantil, Meigas de Honor and Meigas de Honor Infantiles 2016, as well as Senior Meigas, Meigas Mayores Infantiles, Meigas de Honor and Meigas de Honor Infantiles of other years presented their wreath to the Feet of the image of the Saint.

The Solemn Mass was officiated by the Commission's Chaplain, Father Ismael Velo, who in his homily recalled the personality of St. John. The religious function was attended by the General Chief of Staff of the Operative Logistics Force and popular councilors of the Corunna City Council.
