THE THREE MAYORS ABROADED THE SPORTING CLUB

Joaquín López Menéndez, Francisco Vázquez Vázquez and Carlos Negreira Souto, all Mayors of La Coruña, managed to make public this afternoon the Hall of Culture of Sporting Club Casino to defend the San Juan Coruña and the role played for their recovery and promotion , By the Commission Promoting the Hogueras de San Juan and the Association of Meigas during the last forty-seven years.

The three Mayors, with different political options, accompanied by José Eugenio Fernández Barallobre, one of the founders of the Promoter Commission, took stock of their management in relation to the HOGUERAS party in our city, meaning its importance as an economic engine of La Coruña and advocating for its survival in time.

In these difficult moments in which by the apathy and sectarianism of some and the fear of reprisals of others; When, as always, some "rats" leave the ship despite their relationship with the Entity for years; Now that the HOGUERAS are in serious danger, it is worthy of all praise and thanks that three Mayors, of personal and professional prestige, of the participants in the round table, raise their voice as defenders of both the Promoter Commission and the Association of Meigas .
