TRIBUTE TO THE BOAT BRIGADIR DIEGO

As in previous years, shortly before 12 noon, the Meigas 2017 paid tribute to the Corunna, Brigadier of the Royal Armies, Diego del Barco, died gloriously in the aftermath of the War of Independence, before his monument located in The Gardens of the Real Maestranza.

After reading a brief review of their biography, the Meigas deposited a wreath at the foot of the monument that reminds this brave soldier. The act concluded with the interpretation of the National Anthem.
