VISIT OF THE MEIGAS TO THE QUARTER OF DOLORES

Las Meigas-2016, at the conclusion of their visit to the Arsenal of Ferrol, went to the Barracks of Our Lady of Sorrows, headquarters of the Tercio del Norte de Marine Infantry, where they were received by their Colonel.

The Meigas and the directors of the Association toured the facilities of this quartering that since its construction, in the eighteenth century, is home to a Marine Infantry Unit, the oldest in the world. They also attended a demonstration of forces there quartered.
