HOW CAN YOU LIE SO MUCH

As we read today in La Opinión, the Mayor of the tide, referring to the municipal prohibition for the Association of Meigas install and burn their traditional allegorical Bonfire the night of San Juan on the beach of Riazor has said to that newspaper:

The mayor, Xulio Ferreiro, explained yesterday that the Concello was waiting for the Meigas to specify the location of their fault to verify if the place chosen by the entity was suitable or not and could be granted authorization : It will not be, that yes , In Riazor, where the City Hall will be burned.

How can one miss the truth in this way? Whoever directs the destinies of the city does not seem to remember that someone from his government team referred twice to the Association of Meigas, a letter in response to the requests made in the day by the Entity, where referring to The aforementioned Bonfire stated verbatim: "We reject the installation of Allegorical Fogueira given to coincidence with the municipal program."

Long ago, someone who said to speak on behalf of the Local Police advanced this prohibition, which was later revealed in a letter, without date, without seal and without signature, sent twice, which states the above.

It is a lie that someone from the Tide Town Hall offered another possible location for the Bonfire, let alone indicate the possibility of finding another space for the burning. Besides, are not they going to burn, the night of San Juan, more bonfires in Riazor than the City Hall? And if not, we hope and wish it is not and that hundreds of bonfires can burn on the beaches, why are the others allowed to the Association of Meigas no? What is this discrimination due to?

But the thing do not ends there. We know of people who telephonically consulted with the City Council, asking where they could request permission to install their bonfire on the beach, to which they were told not to know. That is to say, the only entity that requested formal permission to install a bonfire was the Association of Meigas and arbitrarily, unjust and discriminatory, have responded with that phrase: "We dismissed the installation of Allegorical Fogueira given the same coincidence with the municipal program" .

And now they say they offered other possibilities. Here somebody lies and it is not the Meigas Association.

As for the subsidy of the Xunta. Who requested the declaration of Fiesta de Galicia of Tourist Interest in 2000 ?; Who was the Fiesta of National Tourist Interest in 2003 ?; Who is the International Tourist Interest in 2015? The answer is clear and is in the files, the Promoter Commission and the Association of Meigas, hence the latter Entity who is called to sign the Agreement.
