Yesterday left us forever an endearing person who lived, very close to us, the beginning of our sanjuanera journey when there, in the 60s, ran Mantequerías Galicia, the grocery store of our beloved street of Fernando Macías always.

We learned of the death of our beloved Manolo, and that immediately brought back memories of those marvelous years in which, as children, we resolutely faced the task of becoming men and with that we took on the responsibility of rescuing The city the beautiful tradition of the night of San Juan.

Manolo, affable, friend, suffered many times from our childish jokes and always did it with a smile adorning his serene countenance. Later, over the years, he opened the unforgettable "El Pincho" bar, where many nights, projects and projects were set up to turn the night of the Bonfires into a festive referent for our dear Coruña.
